The 71st Miss World Pageant - Preliminary Results and Predictions
We are less than 24 hours away from learning who will be the winner of the 71st Miss World Pageant. Delegates from 112 countries gathered in India nearly a month ago to rehearse and participate in preliminary events and competitions.
According to the Miss World organization, when the pageant begins the field of contestants will be narrowed from all 112 delegates down to the Top 40. Already we know that 8 of the contestants have been fast-tracked into the Top 40 by winning various preliminary events. Let's take a look at who is already in the Top 40.

So those eight Miss World 2023 contestants: Botswana, Croatia, England, Lebanon, Martinique, Nigeria, Tunisia, and Zimbabwe are already guaranteed a spot in the Top 40.
I'm also giving you my Miss World predictions of the top contenders from each of the Continents, and this is based on what we have seen so far in the preliminary events. Keep in mind that there is a lot that we don't get to see during pageant week (or in this case pageant month) and there are going to be other factors, the live performance aspect, things that will affect what happens as the contestants get narrowed down, by whatever happens on stage.
And just want to add that all the contestants are doing an amazing job. This is one of the most interesting, informative, and entertaining pageant events that I have seen in a very long time. The pageant was delayed a couple of years and it has been well worth the wait. Congratulations to all the delegates!
